Talk About It is a campaign for Planned Parenthood to bring awareness to the importance of speaking up about your sexual health and to end the stigma relating to your body.

Project Overview

Talk About It is a campaign developed for Planned Parenthood with a single goal: making it easier for young people to ask questions about their own bodies. The campaign targets adults ages 15-24—a demographic commonly affected by STIs and unplanned pregnancy—and is built around the idea that stigma preventing young people from access to better health outcomes. If people felt less judged for asking, they would ask more.

Visual Identity

The visual identity was designed to feel the opposite of a clinical health campaign. A bold, expressive typography paired with a warm, high-energy color system communicates confidence and approachability—signaling that these conversations can happen without feeling uncomfortable. The diagonal type treatment for the slogan in pushes against the rigid aesthetic often associated with public health messaging.

Deliverables

Campaign deliverables span print, environmental, and digital touchpoints— including a poster, billboard, brochure, hanging banner, step-and-repeat backdrop, event booth installation, and kiosk. The digital presence extends the campaign through a multi-page website prototype and an animated Instagram carousel addressing common misconceptions around STI testing, birth control, and period health in a direct, judgment-free tone.
